COMPLETED.......Ambrose Troman b abt 1747
I am bit stuck and confused on this lot
On Bcc we have Ambrose Tromans married to an unknown Elizabeth
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =591121651
can't see a marriage
but there is one to a Phoebe Perry
but all the kids for Ambrose are for an Elizabeth
I think this is Ambroses marriage
perhaps Phoebe dies?
marriage at Clent has a Jesse as a wit and Ambrose has a bro Jesse
20 Feb 1770 Clent
Ambrose Trowman bach of the parish of Rowley Regis
Phoebe X Perry spr otp
by Licence
Wit- Jesse Trowman / Thos Waldron

Re: Ambrose Troman b abt 1747
I can't see a death/burial for a Phoebe/Phebe around 1770 for Clent or Rowley Regis.
So I don't think we can make the assumption she married and died.
Perhaps Phoebe was a Phoebe Elizabeth or Elizabeth Phoebe?
I have had a few who used their second name or changed their first name.

Another classic example this afternoon where this bloke uses Samuel Underwood for the first three or four census and then changes to John for his marriage and the first census after that and then John Samuel for the next couple of census and then back to Samuel for his death. Grrrrrr!
