Just have a look at what I have entered check all ok
we put an abt date if we don't know the exact dob ie we don't have a birth certif
If we are unsure of the year we put an estimated one
but there are boxes that can be used for the prefix here.

We don't add any living ones ever!
so the deceased button is always clicked.
Any born after 1920 and on the tree must be deceased and a date of death shown

we use html coding ie for a break line/new line we put

that keeps the notes neat.

But I will go thru all this as you add stuff... I will be watching....
and will guide you thru

so check this lot sign it off on this thread and then we can move to stage 2 in emails

Thank you for all of the work you've done looking these up! I've got the same info recorded, except for Alice Hughes, in 1861, I have her as aged 6 living in Upper Gornal with her parents William aged 55 and Mother Hannah aged 35. She has brothers and sisters - the eldest is Henryetta aged 21 This is the child from Williams' earlier marriage. Father William is shown as a Bone Boiler Her name is spelt Allice. But I will go and have another look at all of that, it was one of the earlier bits of the tree that I did, so I could well have got that wrong.
