I have asked the regis district to check the regis for William Smart b 1853
and
William Roberts b 1852

and it is so weird

I have a bapt for a a William Roberts b 1853 22nd may langstoft mother Selina

but

when I get the birth regis checked for

William Roberts b 1852
and
1853 march
1853 June
regis

there is no mother Selina

and the closest one is the June regis one 1853 Wm Smart
mothers maiden name Roberts
first name Mary
dont know father ......
but born langtoft
and before 22nd may 1853

So rather than have to order 3 birth certifs I am trying to account for the others

I feel that Selina Roberts took in this William Smart as her own
and then he was brought up by Samuel Rose

Who is Mary Roberts?
