I have to work over Easter well Easter Monday and Good Friday but Silent Saturday and Easter Sunday i'm free.

I have never heard it called "Silent Saturday" before although it is very apt

That was a literal translation from Dutch " Stille Zaterdag" but it's not correct.I've since realized that it should be " Holy Saturday" the day after Jesus crucifiction.

Nothing exciting planned for Easter, depends on the weather , today done all the shopping apart from fresh bread and now on the forum reading all the messages. :-)

Wolvie has just done the shopping....he is not very happy ....bless :oops:

and he is having a cuppa then has informed me we are to tackle a room each
and so once more dear friends ...... :(

Then more cleaning tomoz
followed by cooking a roast
followed on Mon by more cleaning
and then ....they are back at work....yippee! :P

just bought some eggs..how expensive are easter eggs!!
not doing it next year
ridiculous.... :shock:

Easter Eggs on offer at our local co-op 2 for £3.00 , Cadbury's all different choices and quite large.

I shall be planting out my potatoes that have been chitting away far longer than I ever imagined :!: It has been Siberian down here on South coast and everything is 2 months late-my first daffs are out and it is April!!!!!!! Normally arrive in Jan

Its raining here in the Mids too Carol

:shock: :o That is outrages Northern Lass , I bought a Cream Egg , a soft toffee , Flake and one of those with small eggs that have a speckled shell £6 for the lot , wonder if they had the wrong price on. :lol:
