Hi my name is Susan Furber formerly BRUNS I am trying to trace my family name on my fathers side I have got as far as my Great Grandfather who was Henry Bruns I have found his marriage certifacte which I am waiting ti arrive it says on the 1901 census that he was a german subject so I am presuming he was born in Germany how do I find any records for births in germany around 1864 I have come to a stop and dont know where to go from here and advice
