I reckon that cos you're from up t'North you'll probably live in a terraced house and you probably live closely to your neighbours.
So it's important you get on with your neighbours right?
I live on the corner of a street so i only have one neighbour and he is such a know-all and Mr Perfect!!
So i keep myself to myself and leave the bragging up to him!! I hate big heads!!

Hey, just enjoy it, Annie. A touch of guilt just adds spice to the pleasure.

I have great neighbours on both sides. We keep an eye on each other's houses when anyone is away. Other than that, we can hardly see each other for the bush (jungle) in my garden.

Oh... I forgot about our other neighbour way down the back ... the one who took us to court because leaves from our chestnut tree blew into his garden :(
Some mistakes are too much fun
to only make once.

We are lucky that we have good neighbours, our house is a semi and at the end so no one the other side.
We have lived here for 11 years and live next door but one for 9 years. We have some great friends not just neighbours. The kids have all grown up together and are great friends too and all look out for each other.
Just like a big family.
