Hi I was just researching my family tree and traced back to Edward Weaver born 1823 in Montgomery He was a butcher I found him on the 1861 census but None of the other ones. There is an Edward Weaver born in 1822 in Montgomeryshire On the other census records What are the chances this is the same person?

You are saying there is one with just a years difference in the census?
You can expect up to 5 years difference if somebody spans enough Census records.
So it is probably the same person.
