Hi Mark, it is my text not the picture, as I am typing here it is all of a blur, also the text on my BT yahoo home page Thanks for the offer of any help from Linell.
Hi Mark, someone suggested that we move the hub away from all the Cables I am just putting up with it, it seems at it's worst when I switch on, then settles down as the day goes on. I tried looking for a Windows 'settings page' where by you can adjust the screen maybe Any ideas Many thanks from Linell.
What I always tell people to do is install the driver for the monitor.
This tells the video card whst the optimal settings are and makes sure the monitor is running at the correct refresh rate and resolution.
If you can't find a disk for it, tellme the model and I will tell you wher you can download it.
The idea about not having it next to a modem or somthing similar is applicable to old CRT monitors or LCD monitosr being run via an analogue cable.
Very little interferes with a digital connection.
The fact that the shaking seems to get better indicates that it could be a heat related issue. This ismost ocmmonly caused by a "dry joint" where a connection is not being made correctly. As the computer/monitor heats up and things expand, the connection improves and resolves the issue for a while.
Hi Mark, many thanks for your time and yes I think you are right, it is probably the Monitor. The Monitor is old about 10 years, it is a Flatron LCD TV/Monitor, and hubby says it is digital. When we bought the new PC we just plugged it into the old Monitor. No we have no disc. I don't think I even have the instruction book for the Monitor anymore? Have to have a look and see if I can get hold of a disc. Thanks again from Linell.

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
