It's on the tele over here.It's on now the one about the Sweating Sickness!!
This was a strange sickness that has never been fully explained.
Ann Bolyn had it and survived but thousands died in the time of Henry V111.
In fact some bodies were buried in a cemetary that still exists today and there's talk of exhuming one or two bodies to find out exactly what this Sweating Sickness was!!!
Not as interesting as computer jargon of course but interesting nevertheless don't you think!! :lol:

Yes fascinating period.

Bet it was the lack of hygiene
how often did they bathe I wonder?
and what did they use for soap?

Ughhh!! I wonder if fish was in their daily diet? :?

Isn't the tale that Elizabeth I claimed to be very clean because she had a bath once a year whether she needed it or not!!!
