I went home for dinner after a week of school dinners , didn't like them. :(

Mmmmmmm Cornflake cake .....................Cornflakes covered in golden syrup and lashings of hot custard.


Or ice cream and hot chocolate sauce.

Yummy , we never had lovely puds like that, all I can remember is bread & butter pudding and Jam suet pudding. :shock:

I used to love cheese and onion pie as well!!
We used to get it on a friday on account of the Catholics!

I used to love them!
The dinner ladies would save the skin of the custard and milk puddings for me! :lol: I loved suet puddings, all the old puddings really.
I liked the spam in batter.

I never had them, not even once :(
And never had to wear a school hat either which I really wanted to do after watching Carrie's War on the BBC. Even berets had been abolished by the time I went to school so I never got to wear one of those either. Deprived, that's what!
