*Archive?* Bertie Barratt - Missing

The above named Bertie Barratt B 16/3/1893 Smethwick a Milling Machinist was my Gt Uncle who went missing 1910. He
was never seen or heard from again by his parents or sisters. I have recently found a Naval record relating to him leaving
Portsmouth to join the Australian and later New Zealand Navy, and that his pension record was in New Zealand. He was on;
Victory and Renown Aug to Nov 1911, Victory II from Nov 1911 to Jan 1912, Naiad from Jan 1912 to Dec 1914,
Hindustan April 1912 to Dec 1916, Royal Sovereign April 1916 to Dec 1917. Joined R.F R 13/5/1919 and was on Victory II
April 1921 to June 1921.

Does anyone on this site have any knowledge of him or his descendants presuming he had some whom I believe will be either
in Australia or New Zealand. Thanks.

Hi Gigi,
Would you have his full name, as 'Bertie' sounds as if it's short for Albert or Herbert or something? It would be helpful to know at least his parent's first names as there are likely to be a few Bert Barratts around. I've found one dying in New South Wales, Australia in 1959:

There are no Bertie or Bert Barratts with those parents dying in NSW Australia up to 1979.
