I have the death certificate for Wm Worton who died Five Ways Cradley Heath aged 81 in 1844. This is Wm from Cradley. He died at the home of Samuel Worton Five Ways. Here is the link:-

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =779098788

I wonder if it is the Samuel you have born about 1816 :?: He was the only Samuel I could find living at Five Ways Cradley Heath in 1841. If it is the same Samuel, how was he connected to William born and bread Cradley :?: Samuel as far as we know was not William's son. Any ideas anyone :?: Linell.

Samuel has to be connected to Wm who died in his household in 1844, he says on the Census he was born Cradley :!:

1871
Cradley Road, Rowley
Samuel Wertin 60 - Labourer - b Cradley
Ann Wertin 58 - b Corley, Salop
Worton on image

1881

Wouldn't think he Married in Gornall Pete, would put my money on the Marriage to Ann Barrell, could be Barrett :?:

Hi Pete yes looks like two Samuels, and two Israel's. I think we have the wrong wife for Israel here:

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =887781358

He can't be the Israel who Married Harriet Wooldridge, looks like he Married Ann Mansell :?:

Need to have a better look at all of this. Linell.

Ok have got this far:-

Israel Worton born about 1790 Married Ann Mansell.
Son Samuel born about 1812 - 1816 (all ages seem to be way off on each Census) Married another Ann (could be Ann widow of Jeremiah Mansell,) they had children Rueben 1820 - 1820 born and buried Cradley (a Worton family name) Lucy born Cradley 1821, Leonora born Cradley 1833, Simeon born and buried Cradley 1833 - 1833.

Samuel and Ann are on the Census at different times with Israel Worton Samuel's father, and Leonora Mansell daughter of Jeremiah and Ann.

Samuel is present at death of Wm Worton in Cradley Heath 1844.

What do you think Pete. I will try and find a death for Jeremiah Mansell.

Linell.

There are a couple of deaths for a Jeremiah Mansell Stourbridge Registration in 1845 and 1848. No good to us, we need one who died before 1841. Did find a Cradley Burial in 1831 for a Jeremiah aged 6, he could be another one of Jeremiah and Ann's children. Also found a burial for a Wm Worton aged 89 11.10.1829.

Hi NL, I think we have the wrong Israel Worton Married to Harriet Wooldridge.

Should be this line:-
High Park Cradley we have four brothers:-

William born about 1795 Married Mary Forrest
1841 they have Temperance aged 19, Sarah 17, Betsey 15, David 13 and Wm 4.

John born about 1800 - 1840 Married Jane Hodgetts 26.9.1814 Old Swinford (John died Colley Gate, I have the certificate, High Park was in the Colley Gate area,) they had James 1815, William 1817, Sarah 1819, Mary 1820, Rueben 1822, Jane 1824, Mary Ann 1825. Wm aged 23, Mary aged 20, Ruben aged 18, and Jane aged 14, are all in High Park 1841, no parents.

Joseph aged 35 in High Park 1841 with children Israel 18, Zechariah 16, Honor 14. Ann 12. Mother Ann presume deceased.

Then there is Israel with wife Harriet 1841 High Park with children Benjamin 17, William 15, Esther 15, Solomon 13, John 10, Patience 7, Ono 4, Comfort 2.

Then in Lyde Green Cradley, which is the other side of Cradley to High Park we have:-

William aged 75 in 1841 (he is the one who dies in 1844, at 5 Ways Cradley Heath with Samuel) he is the son of Israel Worton and Elizabeth Cox. He Married Sarah Naile. Their sons were Ruben 1804, Joseph 1804, and Israel 1790.
2nd Wife Mary aged 55
Rueben aged 35
Sarah Wife 30
Ann 9
Joseph 6
Israel 4
Wm 2

I think this is the Israel who Married Ann Mansell and had son Samuel from 5 Ways. HTH from Linell.
