Just been lookin at this the witness at the marriage is a Charles nock
he is a son of Daniel Nock and Elizabeth Johnson ( I believe) there are more kids for a Daniel and Elizabeth that I will add.

This Joseph has a submitted record for 1820 RR I will check the fiche as IGI dont cover past 1813 I think from memory.

I was hoping that Daniel and Benjamin on that 1841 census would be bros and the sons of Cornelius and Priscilla nock but can only see Daniel linked to them and a prudence.

So who does that Benjamin link to

and what do we think of Joseph with a bro Charles and so the son of Daniel b 1776 and son of Cornelius?

Benjamin found by Mallosa in 1841 seems to be Benjamin Baptised 18.5.1795 Cradley to Benjamin born about 1753 and Ann Trowman. Benjamin born 1753 died 1815 aged 60 Buried Cradley. He could be the son of Thomas and Sarah. There are about 4 lots of Thomas and Sarah's so this is where the line runs cold. Being as Benjamin born 1795 has a son Moses, that could connect him to the Moses Nock line. I have Moses born RR 1704 son of Willam Nock and Dorothea, he Married Mary Floyd 11.6.1726 RR. Their son Moses born 1734 I think Married twice, firstly to Joyce Whitmore 9.12.1753 RR and then to Phoebe Parkes 27.12.1762, they had a daughter called Joyce. I have these notes on Moses from the St Giles Register:-
'Moses Nock of Cradley, who not having the fear of God, notoriously illtreated two wives. He dropt down in his own yard on the 1st inst. and lay exposed to very inclement weather until the 3rd, when he was found in a shocking condition, in which he languished till ye 4th, 9 o'clock am.' From the St Giles Parish Register.

can anyone find him on the 1851 census to confirm his dob. as he could be 1787-1791 as age 50 on 1841 census.
of course it could be a later bapt too!

I agree that the name Moses is very significant and that early stuff you have linell be good to get that info on and hopefully with a bit more digging we could link the Nock line we have of James b 1720? and Dorothy to this one....... ..I wonder if James could be a brother to this Moses b 1734?.....and then link that benjamin in too!
