Question about the national archives

Post by danskitt »

Am I right in thinking that the national archives in london hold all of the records that the individual centres around the country hold for instance all the infomation that can be found in wolverhampton archive centre can also be found the the NA in London?

I am not too sure but I think it is only what the archives input for eg they have the black Country history website and I think that the info stored on that is also on the nat archives site.

Hi Dan, I think it is a bit of a hit and miss who holds what information. I have found Documents at Worcester that are not listed on the NA Website? You could try emailing the NA and asking, let us know when you find out, interesting question, many thanks from linell.
