Job Dimmock

Post by Pudsey to Howard »

Hi

Another Dimmock dilemma:

There's a Job Dimmock born Mushroom Green, Worcestershire circa 1858 lodging at 14 Dudley Wood, Dudley along with his wife Caroline and their son Thomas. The head of the household is a Thomas Dimmock [born circa 1825 at Dudley]

FreeBMD has the following birth:

Sep 1858: Dimmock Job Dudley 6c 116

West Midlands BMD has the following marriage:

1876: DYMOCK Job BILLINGHAM Caroline 1876 Dudley, St Andrew West Midlands Dudley Register Office 205/006/325.

Try as I might I cannot seem to find Job in the 1861 or 1871 census. Any ideas?

That's what I'm trying to figure out - have a Thomas born 1825 on my tree - he's a son of Joseph & Charlotte - and possibly married a Rosanna Trowmann in 1846 at Dudley St Edmund.

Have possible deaths for Thomas & Rosanna [1890 & 1877 respectively - both at Dudley] but can't locate them after the 1851 census.

Hi

In regard to the Job linked with the Bridgewaters - he's a different one.

Got this from freebmd:

Births Sep 1858 Dimmock Job Dudley 6c 116

Births Sep 1865 DIMMOCK Job Dudley 6c 129

Free BMD have the following death, which appears to tie in with the second Job:

Deaths Sep 1872 DIMMOCK Job 7 Dudley 6c 21
