Post by Annie »

I am trying to find the surname for Mary who was born about 1797 , Mary married Benjamin Garbett about 1816/17 Benjamin was born about 1796 Tipton, there first child was born about 1817 Bristol and the next child was born Tipton.
Benjamin remarried 31 March 1829 at St. Phillips Birmingham to Ann Spencer.

Any help with this will be appreciated.

Thanks Northern Lass , the marriage in Wales put me off it, but thinking about what you said there was a lot of coal mines in Wales and he'd move about for the work .

I think I will put it in my tree with a note and question mark.

Annie :-)
