Hi folks! Another newbie for you :P

Perhaps a little unsurprisingly, my primary interest is the surname of BASTABLE.

I spent a short while researching my family tree a few years ago and was lucky enough to stumble across Neville Bastable (A fountain of genealogical knowledge!). However, a period of ill health and a spot of data loss meant that we lost contact. I'm delighted to say that a quick Google search unearthed Neville and brought me here!

Hi Steve welcome to the forum

We have a dedicated Black Country Genealogy section, just scroll down the main board.
Some of us are involved in the Black Country Connections tree just click on my website logo to find out about that!
Some familiar names are in there.

For any other counties other than the BC area do post in the Gen discussion section

A big thank you to all for the warm welcome :thumbup:

Thanks for the heads-up on the BC section, Northern Lass. My original research, hunches, and snippets of family 'hearsay' led me back to places such as Bilston and Rowley Regis, so perhaps the BC section will throw something up.
