Memorabillia- Yesterday's Junk =Tomorrow's Treasure!
Hi just to let you all know of a brilliant idea that Nemo has come up!
We are going to run with an album on here of Memorabillia called Guess wot....Memorabillia!
and I will be adding to our Connections one too!
So if you have any marvellous photos of interesting objects from the past, then please send them to Mally
on this site or upload them into the Gallery in the "Members upload" album.
This is located in the General section of the Gallery
Click on the Gallery link......Here
We can then add them to both sites.
I know I have a gas mask in the loft I will take a photo of!
So come on dig out photos of your ration books, old cookers, cars, antiques, clothes, etc etc
We could have a real old Aladdins cave of artefacts to show how people used to live!
Here is a list of ideas...
gasmask
podger
flat iron
gramophones
mangles
old cars
bikes
toys
cookers
cigarette boxes
antiques (not you rob!)
pipes
snuff boxes
glass walking sticks

I will see what I can come up with but as my digital camera has conked out there may be a delay as my phone technology knowhow is somewhat lacking LOL

I have an old medallion type thing that was awarded to my nan, Elizabeth Higgs, when she was at school for good attendance. This was in Wolverhampton around the 1920's. Can dig it out and take a photo?
