Church records **Completed

Post by Sarah_Carney »

How willing are Churches to let you research their records? Are they oblliged?

I'm planning another trip to Ireland, but seem to remember that last time I spoke to them on the phone they weren't very helpful.
I just wanted to find out before I call them this time. Also, the Priest died almost a year ago, so the nearest Church are trying to run things until they get another which might make things more difficult.

Thank you :)

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Oh that's a good idea. I am going to ring them but last time they were unhelpful to say the least.
Thanks
