I think Benjamin Tromans' wife Phebe on the 1841 census is Phebe Hingley (IGI Batch No.: M040144; Dates: 1813 - 1818; Source Call: 0378765), possibly the daughter of Samuel Hingley and Sarah WIllets (although she would have only been about 17 at thetime of the marriage). I can't see a connection between the two on the BCC website, though, so are there any ideas on this? Also, can anyone hazard a guess at Benjamin Troman's' parents? I've got about 6 possible's so far ...

So this is the wrong one a James Tromans with a dau Alice b 1870
and James has father Benjamin and sister Mary
but sis Mary is b 1820 so can't be that one

1841 Census in Club Buildings next door to Benjamin Cooper.
