Peter thank you for mentioning the aerial and for your colourful comments
It was indeed folly on Wolvies side to not take adequate responsibility for said aerial
however, I have now inserted it in another place and it is a marvellous picture!

May I be so bold as to enquire the whereabouts of where my very dear friend inserted the said aerial to obtain a colourful and precise image on a screen? I do hope not where my thoughts are lying as this would be most inappropriate for the poor fellow.

I have to declare that my beloved husband and I did call on the village of Cranford on one of our journeys and found it to be a most affable place indeed. My thoughts are turning to what the experience would have been if we had had to travel by pony and trap.

I find it quite heartening to correspond in this way Northern Lady (but it ay arf ard)

May I thank you for your enquiry as to the insertion of the aerial BC Wench
and to use the local dialect
I Cor say!

Now you mention Cranford on your travels afar, where is this Cranford as I was under the impression
that it was based on a delightful village called Knutsford in Cheshire, therefore I did wonder if indeed it was based
on the village of Cranage in Knutsford.
I do hear that the air is excellent in that quarter to partake and may take merit for curing all manner of ills
Sending Wolvie there....maybe it will cure him!

Lacock Village is in Wiltshire where such scenes in cinemaphotography and television performances as Pride and Prejudice and Harry Potter have been performed. William Henry Fox Talbot who invented the negative/positive process of photography was once the squire of Lacock but in years to come his descendants donated the Abbey and village to the National Trust in 1944. You are quite correct in your comment regarding the excellent air in that quarter, it does so clear the sinuses.

I do so find this type of dialogue so soothing and relaxing, but it does makes one so laid back that one could nod off to sleep at the drop of a bonnet zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Think I may put this into practice once returning to my place of business

Do excuse my misdemeanor I was grasped by a desire to slumber!

An excellent suggestion BC Wench I too will find delight engaging in meaninful dialogue with all and sundry
whoever they may be and any passing stranger that gets in the way!
and on my return to the local archives will find like minded folk to deliver these pearls to.
