Hi

Does anyone know where I can purchase the "English Parish Records: Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire" cd put out a few years back by Ancestry?

Tried googling it but keep getting that it's no longer available.

Doug

Hi

I tried ordering it from them this was their reply: "These CD`s have been discontinued by the manufacturer and we are now out of stock. A full refund has been issued. Regards, L. Cardwell. "

Any other suggestions?

Doug

If you have access to a good newsgroup server then go to the group alt.binaries.cd.genealogy.reposts.

Ask nicely and sombody will post a copy for you.

They will only provide CD's that can no longer be purchased.

That CD will not work under Vista or Windows 7. Works perfectly OK under XP.

Another source of legal parish registers is this site....

http://openlibrary.org/search?q=Shropsh ... =&offset=0

They have dozens of Parish Registers in PDF format that will not cost you a cent.

They are not quite as easy to use as those I purchase from S&N but contain exactly the same information.
