I know ages are strange on 1841 but I think that having 20 year old children in 1841 from an 1828 marriage is pushing it a bit - any ideas on another relationship or had Samuel/Sarah been married before?

Could have been abroad because I can't find reference to either Thomas or Matilda in 1861/1871!!

Isn't there gold in Wales? Australia? When was the USA gold rush?
