Have you seen the latest message from the OP here Pete :?:

People , I now have doubts about his fathers first name being Benjamin ,It could be Jane just used Benjamin as his name was Benjamin . Phoebe I am confident with as he named his first daughter Phoebe. Mason I am not so sure of, I ran this question on another list called Halesowenroots .com that had Willetts trees and they checked and reckoned it was George and Phoebe Martin as they could not find Benjamin. I would like to verify this so I can add to my tree.

Hello List my main area's of research in this area are the marriage of Benjamin Willetts and Phoebe Mason. I have a death certificate from Cambusnethan,Lanarkshire ,Scotland. The deceased was Benjamin Willetts aged 54 in January1909 the above were the parents . He never married but had several children to a Jane Clive, I wonder if she knew his parents as the children did not know he was their father except when they saw their birth certificates
which stated he was the father. The husband of Jane Clive was a Thomas Clive from West Bromwich son of Mary Clive and Isaac Timmins. The other name I am researching is Thomas Marriott bapt June 9 in Amington I believe is in Warwickshire, Thomas grew up to be a Custom's Inspector. Thomas was the Son of Thomas Marriott of this Parish, and Elizabeth Bennett also of Amington were married by licenceon the 9th September 1818 by Jonas W Hey both signed their names, the witness's were Rachel Wood and Richard Bennett. That is a long introduction

what can we find out about these carnt see them on bcc

If Benjamin was 54 in 1909, that means he was born about 1855, so he wouldn't be on the 1851 census.

I have checked free BMD for Benjamin Willetts born 1855 + - 5 . Between Dec 1862 and Sep 1859 they show 5 born in Dudley none born elsewhere. Linell do you have Benjamin in your tree other than birth if we could trace him it would help. Someone asked about Jane after Benjamin Died she married a Henry Gibbons on the3rd Jul 1906 in Coatbridge, Lanark and died on Dec 30th 1911 in Coatbridge,Lanarkshire

Hi Bob, yes I was thinking of tracing Benjamin, it was on my to do list :!: He is at home Dudley Street Wednesbury in 1861 and 1871. I'll have a look for him in 1881/1891 later and get back to you. Linell.

so benjamin died 1909 and jane remarried 1906 ? after benjamin died ?

The one in Wednesbury, in 1861 he was born abt 1849, in 1871 he was born abt 1851, which don't fit with, (The deceased was Benjamin Willetts aged 54 in January 1909) which means being born in about 1855.
