Palethorpes were at the corner of Simpson Street and Birmingham Street, Oldbury, just below the canal bridge. Henry Palethorpe b. 1829 founded the company, its headquarters were in Tipton. The brand still exists, Palethorpes apparently supplied sausages to the Titanic.
