Graingers from Dudley and Spennymoor

Post by GarethGrainger »

Hello people
Thank you for inviting me on your forum
My main interest is the Grainger family who originated from Dudley in the West Midlands.
They and their inlaws all moved to Spennymoor Co Durham in the mid 1870's, probobaly due to poor
living conditions in Dudley at that time.
I would be very grateful for any information about Paradise which is an area within Dudley, and also
the general living conditions around the Dudley area especially during the early Victorian period

Hi Gareth welcome on board!

Stick your post about Paradise in the Black Country Genealogy section further down the main board
and we can do our best to help you.

You know about the Black Country Connections tree and it can be viewed
by clicking on my website logo on any of my posts.

It would be good to get your ancestors on that so let me know in a pm
if you are interested in joining that.
