William Blake son S 23 Ship's Plate Labourer b.Sunderland Co.Durham
Maud Guard daug M 21 b.Sunderland Co.Durham
Percy Blake son S 19 Ship's Plate Labourer b.Sunderland Co.Durham
Mary Elizabeth Guard gdaug 10 months b.Sunderland Co.Durham

Mary Elizabeth was Willam and Margaret Maud Guard's eldest child.

Where was William Guard in 1901 and who were his parents? :?

A family tree on Ancestry (owner lyndamadani) has this info on William Guard:

Marriage: 25 Nov 1899 All Saints Church, Monkwearmouth, Sunderland, Durham

James Henry Guard 1902 - 1968

James Henry Guard (William's father)
Birth March 1851 Plymouth, Devon
Death abt 1883

Parents: William Guard 1814 & Elizabeth 1816

Marriage to Elizabeth Jane Beckwith abt 1873
Occupation: Chief Engineer on Steamer

The same tree says that Elizabeth Guard nee Beckwith married William Lewis on 29 Jul 1885 at South Shields, Durham

Elizabeth was born at Hartlepool

Jo i saw that on the 1901 census but why would he be living there when he got married in 1899?
Why wasn't he living with his wife and child of 10 months?
So i thought that it must be another William Guard but the occupation is the same!! :?
