1841 Census only has this Worton family in Lyde Green.
William aged 75 (born 1766 son of Israel and Elizabeth Cox. Wife Mary aged 55)
Reuben aged 35 with his wife Sarah 30, children Ann 9,
Joseph 6, Israel 4, William 2.

(Reuben 1804 is the son of William and Sarah, also Mary 1786, Israel 1790, John 1795, Wm 1800, Joseph 1804.)

so that would work then
2nd marriage for Wm
Reuben at home
then
Wm
Joseph and Israel at High Park

Josephs kids check out as kids of Joseph and ann

he is wid on 1841

then remarries in 1849

is it Knowles in 1820
or
Forrest in 1813

this looks like marriage for Israel

Hi NL, another researcher also has Wm born about 1795 father of Temperance Married to Mary Forest, so I do think that is correct. As far as I can tell Temperance is the eldest child, but there may have been more, too many children for a William and Mary Worton on the IGI. But will leave her as Mary Unknown on BCC. Will check out the Marriage at Halesowen for Israel and Elizabeth Cox and get back to you. Great piece of detective work by you, thanks a lot from Linell.

Forgot to add there is a Meredith Family in High Park in 1851, not checked 1841, neighbours to the Wortons:-

Correction NL; Di has three older children on BCC for Wm and Mary Forest, a William Benjamin born 1813, Ann 1816, Joseph 1819, then Temperance 1820, so it must be Mary Forest Married 1813. Later from Linell.

27.12.1762 Israel Worton X bach otp and Elizabeth Cox X sp otp Married by Banns. Witnesses were William Jones X and Joseph Chandler.

The Baps for Joseph and Ruben are together in the Cradley Register:-

Joseph Worton Bap 29.1.1804 Cradley to Wm and Sarah Worton, said to have been born 1801
Ruben Worton Bap 29.1.1804 Cradley to Wm and Sarah Worton

The Bap for Israel Worton at Halesowen 21.11.1790 does say William and Sarah in the Register.
The Bap for Wm Worton 19.8.1766 Halesowen does say son of Israel and Elizabeth.

Will get all this added NL.
