Missed TV programmes,watching on computer???

Post by grangers14 »

A bit long winded but...
Theres this programme Secret Millionaire, its been on tonight on ch4. Its going back to see how people did with his money...
I watched the first time it was on and seen just a snippett tonight between phone and helping my youngest make a birthday card for her friend, even when I did + 1,
Well, theres two lovely old boys on and one says the most wonderful poem and I dont know it, tried to find some lines in it, found nothing.
I have never used the computer to watch things like this but I have seen some past programmes when I looked on ch4. Doesnt have tonights,
will it come and do you need anything to watch it again? Does it have the full programme?
I know I will need a box of tissues, or loo roll because its so sad and heart warming!
I just want to know the poem the old boy said, or at least the words to it.
Jo :)

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

I know but I missed this poem, the old boy said!
Its so touching, I like words, poems, sayings...
I cant remember first time round \all the words, but had me in tears then, then I heard a bit but then missed it tonight so then did + and still missed it trying to make this card
Checked on ch4 web site and it says you can see things you missed, that wasnt showing but may be I have to wait?
I just want the poem the old boy said!
Big softy I am.
If I find it I'll post it here, but best have tissues at hand when you read it! Its about war time friends, some words are
"with pride to great to measure"

Thanks for saying though

Hi

Try googling "Channel 4"

look for "4oD"

then keep looking for links for all programmes - when you get to an alphabetic choice it is under "S".

You need a flash programme but I don't know anything about that.

Hope this helps

I got the poem the old boy said but I think it must be something he wrote?
Still had me in tears again

Now you and I are older lad,
we have a bond to treasure,
for we can look into each others eyes,
with pride too great to measure.

They were both Veterens and widowers been friends for years and had each other. One old boy died soon after this. Oh bless.
Cant see now, tears again!
