been away for a week or two - work........!

bit confused, but if we have the same people I have Eliza Round (Southall) b 21/10/1830, Dudley, bapt 14/11/1830, died 22/7/1908 Lehi, Utah - so obviously a Mormon. She married Lott Russon 25/12/1850, Dudley: think this is who you are referring to.

I have them in the 1880 US Census:

I have HER parents as JOHN Southall & Sarah Round - don't have any more of their children.

Lott Russon/Eliza's children 10 were born Netherton (earlier ones) or Derbyshire (later ones) except for the last two who were born in Lehi, Utah. Most of them also died and were buried in Lehi, Utah.

Given that so much information is given regarding birth dates etc (which would not normally be given in parish registers) I suspect that much of this information has been recorded by the Mormon Church from immediate descendants (or the individuals themselves - were you aware that members of the Mormon Church were encouraged to write down their genealogies/ histories from a very early time in the church - these should be available on microfilm : - LDS family history centre anyone???)

Presume you knew that Lott Russons parents were Thomas Ruson/ Sarah Davies (think this is on the Russon thread) - Sarah Davies parents were Lot Davies/ Hannah Shakespeare, Hannah being the daughter of Benjamin Shakespeare/ Hannah Ruston (very confusing these Russon/ Rustons aren't they Jan!!!) Benjamins father was Moses Shakespeare - this should help you locate this on bcc.

Elizas father is not John Southall but Samuel Round I looked up the marriage.

and we are still in need of proof that mother is Sarah Round so for the moment she is not connected to Sarah but boy there are notes on notes!
