St Peters Cradley vicars notes - "Mirror to the flock"

Jo :)

Help needed please - what is a "A mirror to the flock, vicars notes" and where can you see them? I have never heard of them before.

It looks like they are notes of the nonconformists in the parish - do all churches have them or was this a particularly keen vicar - which church in particular does this set of notes refer to?

Thank you

Thank you for being up so early NL - I didn't have to curb my curiosity for too long!

I have been to the link that you gaave and it is fascinating - a pity all vicars weren't as interested in keeping notes about their potential flock

I think they are amazing books. Shame some parts of the 1863 one are missing.
