Here's a thought - Ann and Hannah are often interchanged. Are Simeon and the John who married Mary Jane Gadd both son's of Ann known as Hannah??? I know for John there is a 5 year age discrepancy between 1851 and 1861, but ...?

Hi Di I think that is them! that is our Simeon with his mother.
So why is he a jevons? is that his name?
So why does he marry as a Tromans and call himself Tromans on census.
And why is he a lodger in 1851 and not down as son?
Oh and why is he on that bapt got no father but only mother hannah?

That other John Tromans living next to Simeon in 1861 is poss a rellie but not his brother.
need that marriage look up and see who he puts down as father ......will let u know.

There was another daughter Hannah 1831 who died. Ann Truman/Troman fron Plants Green died 22/10/1834 age 36. All above in st Giles Parish Records.
