Hi there, Thankyou so much for all the effort you have made, this is great news. I am soon to send for my grandmothers birth certificate (Gertrude). I found out from my family that she had several children by her first partner who she never married. His surname was Evans. I don't know what happened to him or anything about him. I know that Gertrude lived in Bromley Street in the lye at some point, I think at number 3. Her children by Evans were my nan Beatrice Nora, Minnie and Edith and they were all given the surname Taylor as she never married this man. Her children by Jacob Hill were Nellie Hill and Iris Hill who died at the age of 18. Oh yes and on the Lord Nelson connection I have, there has been no joy yet. Im I currently looking through as many letters that he wrote as I can view on the net.

I am trying to trace any decendents of Wilkinson Hatton and Mary Ann Wall they married in 1844 at Oldswinford I know to three children thomas 1846 Elizabeth my 3x grt grandmother and Mary Ann. 1871 cencus Wilkinson is living with Mary Ann's mother Maria Freeman at stepping stones Wilkinson died in June 1891 he was living with his daughter Elizabeth and her husband William Jukes Elizabeth died in 1899.
