I have been adding my husbands Greenfield Ancestors onto BCC.
I have added John Greenfield and his wife, Hagar Dingle. I checked as there were no "DINGLE" names listed.
As she has an unusual name, I started to look for her on the census records and found her in 1851 as Agar Dingle.
I then found her as Hagar Dingley in 1861.
I have just checked BCC again and found her on the site as Hagar Dingley.
Sorry Jan......
can some kind person who knows how merge them for me please.
Sorry !!!
Thanks
Sue

Re: INADVERTANT DUPLICATION ON BCC
Done, Sue. I don't know if there's an easier way, but I just made sure all the info was on the Hagar I was going to keep, then deleted one Hagar, and then linked the missing Hagar's family back in.
Cheers, Di

Re: INADVERTANT DUPLICATION ON BCC
Incidentally, I think the Joseph 'Tibbells' living with Sarah and Henry Dingley in 1851, could be Sarah's brother, Joseph Tibbetts:
1841 (transcribed as 'Tittiets')
At Old Hill, Rowley Regis
Joseph Tibbetts 50 Nailor
Ann Tibbetts 45
Sarah Tibbetts 15
Elizebth Tibbetts 15
Joseph Tibbetts 12 Blacksmith
Nancy Tibbetts 10
Susannah Tibbetts 7
Emelia Tibbetts 3
Although there would have to have been a change of occupation for Joseph jnr.
