*Arc tbc* --Smith and Taylor 1841

Post by linell »

Am looking for these Smith siblings in 1841, William born 1803 Old Swinford, and sister Ann born 1811 Old Swinford. She is Married to Thomas Taylor, so she will be Ann Taylor, Married 1832, two children Thomas born 1835 and John born 1839. By 1851 Thomas Taylor Snr has died and Ann is living in Bowling Green Road Old Swinford.

I am really looking to see if their parents are still alive in 1841, a John Smith and Elizabeth nee Bashford, if they are in son Wm's household or daughter Ann's household. Many thanks from Linell.

Cheers Jo, that's a great find, so pleased to have found the parents, I was hoping they might show up on the 41 Census. Funny I searched for Ann Taylor born 1811 and didn't find her :?: I have the rest of the Census info, many thanks, that fills a gap. Best Wishes from Lin.
