Do you think there may be some people there who would have access to employee records of Boat Building companies in the 19th century?

I would love to know whom my Murphys worked for.

Not sure if this would help Mark, found this on the Blackcountry Living Museum site

'Canal transport is well represented with collections of boat builder's equipment to, photographs and documents.
The Museum also has a working boat dock on site and eight canal boats.'
If you would like to have your ancestors photo's included in our Gallery, please send me a pm.

Researching: Evans, Rollason, Henley/Hendley, Brookes, Taylor (Wilson - Birmingham)

I went a couple of years ago NL, it was very busy, loads of stalls, people selling all sorts, you'd be ok there's a beer tent, sure they sell wine too :-) Best Wishes from Linell.
