My GG Grandad is Issac Ford born 2nd Qtr 1852 in Oldbury.
The siblings I know of are,
William Ford born 4th Qtr 1848 in Oldbury.
Annie (Hannah) Ford born about 1855 in Oldbury. (There are several Ann and Hannah Ford born in West Brom at the time).
Sarah Ford born 2nd Qtr 1859 in Oldbury.
Problems is, I do not know the name of thier father or the maiden name of thier mother.
Their mother's forename is Ann.
She is born in Pedmore abt 1823-1825.
I can find the family in the 1861 census (minus Annie/Hannah who I have not chased up yet. She isn't dead as she is in later Census and married an Alfred Tonk).
They live in Low Town in Oldbury but Ann is already a Widow.
Normally I would go back to the 1851 census to find the father and work out the mother from there but I can't find them anywhere in 1851.
There is a damaged 1851 census record that looks like it may be the one and it looks like the father's name may start with W but it is so bad that is just a guess.
So, without ordering some certificates which take a while to get here, I am stuck.

Re: Isaac Ford
Mark that looks good for that marriage for an Edward Ford and an Ann Sewell
now the marriage of Hannah Ford can be looked up to see if father is an Edward
I will be going to Sandwell soon
so if you add this to the list then I can add it to my list.
To add it
go to look up requests
then find the first thread which says Dudley and Smethwick look ups post here
and add it at the bottom of that thread
the number on this following info gives me the entry number in the parish register from the bmsgh site
so 276 is the actual entry of that marriage
1872 date
and it gives me the church St Martin
if we dont have the entry number we need the church day, month year
1872
Surname Forename(s) Surname Forename(s) Church / Register Office Registers At Reference
FORD Hannah TONKS Alfred Tipton, St Martin (Pepper Box) Sandwell Register Office 39/12/276
we can then archive this pending look up

Re: Isaac Ford
I have ordered Isaac's birth certificate.
That should arrive early next week.
That is why I have not bothered asking for a look up.
