What is the Secret of Wedded Bliss?

Post by Northern Lass »

Come on share it with us all

How have you and your beloved and in some cases yer spouse lasted this long in wedded bliss?

Compromise?
Turning a deaf un?
Agreeing and then doing your own thing anyways

Are you celebrating your silver, coral, ruby, Golden or longer

do tell

Always make up after an argument, never sleep until you are friends, talk over any problems I think that should help

You didn't wait for part 2.

My wife will happily agree with me whilst thinking exactly the opposite and acting likewise when I am not looking.

Hence the horrific colour of the latest lounge suite.

Congratulations A5 !! What's the secret? Or is there a secret?
Gwen was on the right track always make up after an argument.Never let silence rule!! I hate with a vengeance silent arguments! Partners talking to each other through their children!!
Even though i'm nearly always in the right i always make the first moves after a "heated discussion".

Congratulations A5!
I agree with Gwen, but I dont think there are any rules to follow.
I also think that some tough times in your life can break a relationship but it can also make you stronger as a couple.
Remembering you are friends helps too, along with respect for each other.
