WILLIAM CUTLER
Marriages:
Spouse: CHARLOTTE BATE

Quote from Mr. Cutler,

"Sorry Mark, I have not been able to find a marriage for William and Sarah, which is why I have not been able to progress back on Sarah's side of the family as yet."

So....I am open to any suggestions....

I have all the birth certificates and they all say William and Sarah Clarke.

I am going to see if the following scenario fits.

Sarak Clarke marries a Smith.

Smith croaks.

Sarah Smith nee Clarke marries William.

Can people have a go at this and see if it fits.

A Sarah Clarke married a George Moore at Bromsgrove in the 4th Qtr 1845. (Volume 18 Page 299)

Plenty of George Moore deaths around that period.

Not waiting too long (perhaps getting large with child) Sarah Moore nee Clarke marries William Cutler in West Brom in 3rd Qtr 1846 (Volume 18 Page 616)

1861 England Census
Solomon Elwell
SPOUSE: Eliza
BIRTH: abt 1816 - Birmingham, Warwickshire, England
RESIDENCE: 1861 - Birmingham, Aston, Warwickshire, England

So it's Edward Horton marrying one Sarah and William the other?
