G'day

Post by johnat »

In case the subject line didn't give you a clue, I'm an Aussie, have been in the search for my ancestors for a couple of months and have found a couple of cousins I'd forgotten about (also researching the same family).

We are having a good time, have managed to get back around 11 generations along one line (but nowhere as far as that with most).

Main interests at the moment are:
Green - North Wales, around Halkyn/Wrexford,
Matthews - around about Pontypool, I think (awaiting BC to confirm),
Wyre, Harris - Black Country,
Cox - Cradley, Timaru (NZ) and Newcastle (Oz).
Nothing is foolproof to a talented fool.

G'day John
Welcome to the forum!

Just in case you are wondering where to post.
The General discussion is for queries/posts for any counties other than those that straddle the Black Country
so post in there.

For the Black Country area we have a dedicated section if you scoll down the main board.
So any from that area then stick a post in there!

also if you click on my website logo it will take you to a huge Project that many of us are involved in!
and you may see some names that connect to you.

Good to have you on board
