*Arc tbc*--GRANDMOTHERS PARENTS

Post by jane2009 »

Could anyone help me with information on my grandmothers parents names. Her name is Gertrude Elizabeth Taylor (maiden name) born Dec 1891. She had sisters, Florence, Nellie,Lilian and brothers Edward (ted) and Bert.
I have looked on the 1901 census and found two Gertrude Elizabeths but some of her sisters were older than her, yet there not showing on the census.
If I send for her birth certificate will this show me her parents names? What other research can I do in order to find out who Gertrudes parents where? thanks. :?: :?
