I am having a huge amount of difficulty tracking someone
:(
I don't think that his name is Holland
it is bit complex to go into all at once

but can anyone find a birth regis for this death I found

Douglas Holland b 12 April 1891
dies 1977 B'ham Dec regis

I can't see a birth for a Douglas Holland on free bmd
and I cant see him on the 1901 or 1911census can anyone?

I know that he is living in Perry Barr in 1949-1973 via the phonebooks
I have the address as 269 Aldridge Rd Birchfields
he moves in 1973 to 40 Perry Av 42 Birmingham area and keeps the same phone no

he has a son who I cant find a birth for either
on the sons marriage father is Douglas Holland

son is a Harold Raymond Holland age 23 in 1955
so b abt 1931/2

pre marriage he was living at Perry barr with his parents.

I cant find a birth for Harold Raymond Holland
the ones on free bmd I have looked at dont stack up...
1931 Harrold R .....mothers maiden name - wren sheffied= Harold Reginald
1933 Harry R.....mothers maiden name -Todd West Brom= Harold Ralph
the others are
1929 Harry R Ludlow mother Blowers and
1928 Harry R Nottinghamshire mother Smallman
this one dies 1998 Notts too and is a Harold Raymond

but the dobs dont gel the latter being too early

but I cant find a marriage for a Douglas Holland that is convincing

There is a Douglas Holland in the Isle of Man 1801 aged 9. Parents George and Clara. Any good? The rest of the family is born England.

I can't see a marriage for this guy at all or a birth on 12 April 1891
I have this lot on the 1911
and I think he was in ww1 as there is a pension record but no more details and I am
hopeless with those anyway

So how do we get info on Isle of man records?
they are not on free bmd or ances

and even that other Douglas cant find info.

I thought if I can just find his marriage I can find the mothers maiden name and track this Harold Raymond Holland

fits with that Dec death where dob is 12 april 1891
so I think this is Douglas

the age is off though the info I have is that he is b 1931/2 and on marriage he is age 23 in 1955

and name of father looks like Herbert

That is correct same as on that 1901 and 1911 census isnt it ..George
so father of Douglas George b Isle of Man

father of Harold Raymond is Douglas

May be he didnt have his middle name registerd?
