Re: *Arc tbc pend look ups* -Possible WESTON/HINGLEY Connection
Oh yes very very interesting this one
Kaye and I were at the archives digging and guess who the father wasnt/
yep it wasn't a Samuel Hingley that Samuel Hingley!
and guess who the father was?
It was a David Hingley
We had it rite with Mary Ann as the dau of Sarah Hingley living in 1841 and 1851 with her 2nd hubbie Nathaniel
Her prev hubbie was a David Hingley
and hats off to Kdw finding him by suggesting dropping our H's I said as a cheshire girl one never drops ones H's!
but of course Hingley / Ingley ....Sorted!
So David Hingley married a Sarah Scriver ( Scriven) 29 March 1824 Halesowen
they have
- Mary Ann Ingley 23 Oct 1825 Cradley
-David Ingely 4 May 1827 Cradley
this David must die betw 1827 and the birth of her other David in 1832
the Igi has the 2nd David incorrectly Dying this is not true as he is very much alive on the 1841 and 1851 census
David hubby then.....he must die
she marries Nathaniel Hingley in 1831 at Clent
They have few kids
-Hannah 3 April 1836 Cradley
-Elizabeth 28 July 1839 Cradley
-David 2 April 1832 Cradley
Nathaniel is b Dec 1802 and Christ 9 March 1806 Rowley Regis
his parents are a Noah and Anne
and here is where it gets interesting
Nathaniel and David are bros!
Noah and Ann Ingley had the following
-Noah 16 April 1797 Rowley Regis
-David b 9 Dec 1800 bapt 20 July 1802 Rowley Regis
-Nathaniel b Dec 1802 and bapt 9 March 1806 Rowley Regis
-Elizabeth bapt 12 Sept 1798 Rowley Regis
now we have on BCC a Noah with parents Isaac Hingley and Esther Williams this is the Noah Hingley chain manuf
we wondered if perhaps Isaac and Noah were bros with the name Noah being there.
This Noah Hingley married an Ann Homer 25 June 1793 at Clent
now just if that wasn't enuff excitement
The Samuel Hingley first mentioned was married twice and I will post the links soon with his marriaeges
First was to Elizabeth Bloomer 1814 and he had Leah and Mary ann ( Ann is living next door on 1841 to Samuel)
and
Second was to Ann Homer 1819 he has a number of kids already on BCC
how do we know he married twice
well I got me ouija board out
no!!
he very very kindly signed on both marriages and I have copies
and he is a widower on the second
Good eh!
will post all links and I will update BCC with all this info

Re: -Possible WESTON/HINGLEY Connection
Thanks guys just entering all this now.
Can I just flag something with all those inputting information on our Black Country Connnections tree
This is an example of how we must ensure that all the info we enter on BCC is checked either via a look up or certifs or we must
be very very sure before it goes on.
In fact I insist we are.
There are many errors in others trees and the trouble is if we use those the error just gets repeated
Sparks did exactly the rite thing here posting this to query it rather than just stick it on
The look up requests do get cleared (eventually) so if we need to look it up to verify then we will do
(sometimes of course the census and other info is enuff to use- let's not make xtra work!)
We have many entries on the BCC site and I would like them all to be as accurate as possible
as I say on the homepage anyone with an alternative bit of info on a particular ancestor is welcome
to contact us and we will look into it.
Some great connections being made here and on the tree in general
nice one folks
