Post by cid »

Hi Di,

On BCC you've added Samuel Garratt born 09/08/1843. My info give dob as 19/08/1842. Can we confirm which is correct please :?: :?:

Thanks in advance

it is 1842
I will change it as Di is on travels
1842
GARRATT Samuel Rowley Regis Sandwell Register Office RR/5/324

any queries like this contact the person in a pm or use the site as you have
and if no joy contact myself I will then look at it and make a decision if still undecided
we tend to run with queries where two different bits of evidence and if still not sure go with the first one and put the alternative in notes

Births Sep 1842
GARRATT Samuel Dudley 18 267
Garratt Samuel Dudley 18 269

only one coming out on bmsgh
but 2 entries

Both entries are the same if you look at the image, I think it's because they couldn't read the page number clearly dob on the birth cert I have is 19/08/1842.

Cheers
