*Arc tbc* ---James CHRISTIAN
I am stuck with the parents of James CHRISTIAN born 1807, Whitehaven, Cumbria. He was married to Elizabeth and had a number of children including Martha who I think was a direct ancestor of myself. His father may have been William but I have no proof of this, if I can make the link to William Christian born 1753 in the same place I can then open up a whole family tree on the peerage website http://www.thepeerage.com/p16056.htm#i160554
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Adam

Re: James CHRISTIAN
Thanks for all your help - where did you find the christening information? I am still not sure which of those is "my" James CHRISTIAN. Does anyone have any more information about him or William CHRISTIAN b1753 Whitehaven, Cumbria, son of James CHRISTIAN and Anne FLETCHER, I am hoping he will be the ancestor of the younger James but I have no proof.
