Alfred Fletcher Jr wife was

Mary Oakwell born Union House, Sedgley, 24th September 1876-have birth certificate.
Married Alfred on 29th May, 1898 at Holy Trinity, Old Hill-have marriage certificate.
Note of interest. I've dug out marriage certificate and you will be aware, one of my blogs has been, what happened to Hannah Weaver?
Replies suggested that a marriage had taken place between Thomas Fereday and Hannah in 1885 at St Pauls, Blackheath.
Interestingly the witnesses on marriage certificate are Hannah Fereday and Thomas Fereday. I think probably, it is then Hannah Weaver, don't you think?

I've plenty more to add to Fletcher who link to Cutler and Jarvis through marriage, Adams, Andrews and Oakwell.
Can't wait to submit!

..... also another note of interest in archive regarding my Adams blog. I've got the marriage certificate of Alfred and Hannah 1874. Witnesses were Benjamin Cole who I believe is Hannah's brother in law and a Eliza Paynes. PeterD and Mallosa found Ann Paynes who she thought married Hannah's uncle Joseph. Eliza seems to be down as Ann's young sister I think.

that Hannah weaver is already on and not married to anyone so it would be a good idea to look up that marriage and I will add somat in the notes until
proven that the husband is Thomas Fereday ...father on cert should be Thomas Weaver for Hannah
this can be looked up
you need to go to look up requests
find thread entitled Dudley and Smethwick archives post here
and add it on that thread I will then add it to my list

it checked out with Hannahs father as Thomas Weaver
and the witness was Benjamin Cole
so that is her uncle?
