Just to confuse things I see a "Gladders" ancestor is an Issachar Allport (1870).

I'm still trying to get my brain round making useful posts.

That makes both sides of my family linking in some where.

I have 4 Issacher Allport's - b. 1870, 1826, 1853, 1892

The 1826 seems to fit in with the BCC.

As to Hackett's you got the same list as I did but much quicker - Ican't spot any matching dates on BCC either.

ALLPORT

1881 10 Coxs Lane Rowley Regis

Elizabeth ALLPORT Head W 36 Old Hill, Stafford, Nailer
Sarah ALLPORT 12 Old Hill, Stafford, Scholar
Issachar ALLPORT 10 Old Hill, Stafford, Scholar

Starting with the above from peterd

I believe Elizabeth to be the estranged wife of Noah Allport son of
Issachar Allport
Sarah Payne
Marriage: 14 AUG 1842 Sedgley, Stafford,

in 1871 Sarah Allport can be found living with Grandparents in Coxs Lane
Noah Elizabeth and Isachar are Halpert/Halport in Lawrence's Lane

1881 Sarah Allport above states herself to be widowed while Noah is back with mother believing himself to be still married!

all going well Elizabeth's father is sited as JOHN Davies miner

Was he officially Charles known as John or John known as Charles or not direct ascendent?
