Hi
Now that my Bowater line is starting to sprout, thanks for all the wonderful help you guys, it's time to seek other branches in the family tree and luckly for some reason a large numer of them were from the West Midlands area. So as my Bowaters take root it's time to seek the Edkins and the Collis (s) and check out the family from Ashton and Solihill which I believe both are in Birmingham.
So does anybody out there have ties to and knowledge of Edmund and Frances Edkins nee Collisand their son Sidney Alfred, he was born in Birmingham in 1865 and so I'd like to ask a couple of questions
1 Edmund was a gas meter inspector, who would of employed him and where would the best place for archives be.
2 He died at 15 Canal Street, Birmingham in 1871 which would be the nearest cemetery
