John Whittingham's wife Ann

I am trying to find out any details of Ann my 4th Great Grandmother here is what I know
John was born in Cockerham North Lancs and baptised at Ellel 16 June 1745 he lived all his life in that area and had the following children

Betty (1773–)
Bella (1776–)
Margaret (1779–)
Mary (1781–)
John (1784–)
Jenny (1786–) Baptised same day as Nancy
Nancy (1786–1860)
James (1787–)
All baptised at Christ Church Over Wyresdale a remote rural church known as the Shepherd's church because not much else around
All baptisms before 1785 say Jno and Ann for some reason those after say just Jno
I can't find a marriage which you would think would be between about 1763 to 1773 and probably quite local as he seems to have no reason for ever having left the area
Any help would be greatly appreciated
