So Jane (Severns) Rose remarried and then died in 1931. Great to tie up that end at last!

Informant at death was B Flavell
And the burial infor says "10th September 1931 Brandwood End Cemetary Birmingham
Jane CURNOCK - 74- Female- 7 Lifford Cottages Kings Norton B'ham - ( died at Selly Oak infirmary)"

Which sort of fits with:

It looks as though they might have emigrated to Canada later? In which case, Albert born 1915 names his grandmother and I think she is this one

She was Jane Rose and widowed, William had only just died in April that year.
The 1921 census for Jane looks right except she says she is head of household and widowed, but George seems to die a couple of years later.
In 1921 I think he is with other Curnocks, as a widower. Bit odd, you are right there.

There is a marriage for Annie Crowther to Richard Brittain in 1911 at Birmingham (on ancestry) it might have some names on it?
I suppose we are assuming that Charles Crowther died between the 1911 census and Jane's 1919 marriage, but she could have just moved out?

I think this is the same Charles although it states bachelor on the second marriage. First Marriage note, William Waldon as a witness, his bother is William and was born before his parents marriage.
